Hi Everyone,
I am trying to locate this pair of black leather Dolce & Gabanna black high heel pumps with a 4″ heel. They are from the fall 2006 season. I really like this classic styling and would like to find this pair in a size 8.5-9 (38.5 or 39). Anyone know of any sites or has still seen these out ? It is really cold in my house because it is a big but not very big and not small home, so i have this electric compact heater that sits on the floor in my room to help keep me warm. I’m a 17 year old girl who is into fashion a lot and I love high heels and I usually would wear my heels around my home. In the summer i would wear my stiletto heel sandals shoes around the home. But now it is really cold so I have to use my compact electric heater and I’m scared that the heater would like damage or burn my heels when i wear them. The Stiletto Pumps that i have and I am currently wearing are Black Patent Leather Stiletto Heels Pumps That Has An 5.5 Inch Stiletto Heel, It is a really comfortable shoe because it has a platform on them. I love my heels and sometimes I never take them off except for when i go to bed. I do a lot of sitting on the computer and watching TV in my heels. Do you think the heater would damage my shoes ?? I love my shoes so much and I would love to war them for a long time since i just bought them about 3 weeks ago

Yes, they certainly could be damaged. Heaters can reach very high temperatures if you’re too close to them, and they usually have a warning not to leave materials too close to them. A lot of so-called “patent leather” shoes are actually a form of plastic, and could be damaged at relatively low temperatures. Even real leather with a fine finish can contain a lot of compounds that will change appearance at higher temperatures.
My recommendation would be to ditch the pumps for a few months and get some cute boots- or maybe get some legwarmers and pull them down to your ankles.
