No, it is great that you accept his hobby. He is a very lucky guy (or it that girl?) to have someone that supports him like you do. My wife tolerates my at home crossdressing, but she would never let me go out dressed up, much less go with me.

Accepting his fashion choices is no different than accepting that he is short or tall. It is who he is. More people need to be as understanding and loving as you are.

First, you are to be commended for researching crossdressing. This is a good indication that you are and intelligent person who values reputable information and one who has consideration for the feelings of others. You are totally correct in learning to accept your boyfriend for the WHOLE person he is and not just the parts of his personality that attracted you to him in the first place.

What people don’t know about crossdressers is that they (90% per polls and surveys) are completely heterosexual and have no intentions of ever being anything else. The remaining 10% are a mix of gays, professional female impersonators, bisexuals, drag queens, etc. Now take into consideration that these same polls and surveys seem to indicate that about 10% of the male population DOES crossdress with some degree of regularity and we’re talking about a LOT of people. That’s one in every ten so you can see that most people know more crossdressers than they are aware of.

The professional communities have not discovered or pinpointed the reason(s) why some people are crossdressers, but it is becoming more evident that it’s something that one is BORN with as opposed to a ‘selected activity’ they chose to do. The biggest problem faced by crossdressers is the lack of education of the general public about what it is – but more importantly what it ISN’T. If society would take the time to do quality research about it, there would be more understanding and tolerance for those who are born with the need – and yes, it is a NEED they are born with – to crossdress.

Try doing some more serious research about crossdressing. Avoid sites that are little more than sensationalistic. Look for reputable information and you may find that you will come to accept the fact that your boyfriend is merely providing an outward expression to an inward adoration of the feminine side of life. It does NOT mean that he wants to be a woman, but rather that he has a need to emulate the object of his admiration for short periods of time.

No” its not wrong for you to accept him, it sounds like you already have and you both have a great relationship, there are many men who are into cross dressing, its completely harmless.
